Black Nativity
Producers Wendell Tabb and Xavier Cason will stage Langston Hughes Gospel Play "Black Nativity" December 19 - 21, 2008 at the legendary Hillside High School Theatre, in Durham, North Carolina. "Black Nativity" is a soul-stirring, hand-clapping gospel play celebrating the Birth of Jesus. If you missed this play last year, you don't want to miss it again. Each year is a whole new experience with new music, costumes, and staging. This year's "Black Nativity" will feature the magnificent 40 plus member choir "Voices of Peace" from Peace Missionary Baptist Church in Durham, North Carolina.

Give the Gift of Music to a Teen
It is often said that "Idle hands are the devil's workshop!" Give a teen something to do, give the gift of music. I have been playing the guitar for 46 years and would like to share my talent with those youth that are willing to learn.
I offer private, one-on-one beginner guitar lessons at my home in Wendell, NC. No fancy music theory, just basic beginner guitar lessons. No experience necessary. Students will learn how to tune guitar, play notes and chords and read music.
Students must bring their own acoustic guitar to the lesson.
Ages 13 and up.
- Weekday lessons available from 12 noon - 4 pm.
- Evening lessons on Tuesday or Wednesday 6 pm - 8 pm.
- Saturday lessons from 10 am - 6 pm.
Lessons are normally $35.00 for an hour; however, if you mention M-Powerhouse you can SAVE $10.00 per lesson! That's ONLY $25.00 for an hour lesson!
